Just wanted to give you a update on how things are going. The two are
really enjoying each other. Shine has been trucking with Ben the last two
days and at night Harley, Shine, and I go out running. And also in
between we have to play frisbee.

It is amazing that the two enjoy each other especially from last Thursday
when they met. We will keep you updated also with pictures too.
Thank you again!

 Daphne Adopted!!

We adopted "Coco" from you at the end of February. Just wanted to share with you how she is doing.
It was a bit of an adjustment at first but she is doing so well now and definately a member of the family-we don't know what we did without her. We named her Daphne.
She enjoys going for hayrides, going to baseball and t-ball games (probably for the hot dogs), and loves to greet her kids when they get off the bus! She is especially fond of the baby, 11 months now, as she is a perpetual crumb dropper! They became fast friends and Daphne taught the baby how to say "woof, woof".    Thanks so much!

I have been meaning to email you, but I can't seem to stop petting Stella. She craves attention and is adorable! Yes, we would like to make it an official adoption. There is no way we could give her up now. The first few days were rocky with Goober, but now they tolerate each other very well. Stella stalks Goober and tries to play with her. Goober puts up with her for a little while, and then just becomes annoyed. They both are very cute and sleep on the bed with us at night. I am hoping that Goober and Stella continue to become good friends. Thanks so much! I have attached some pics of Stella.

LUKE & DUKE Have found a family!
                               ADOPTED!!!!

I think they may miss some of the familiar faces at PAWS, but they are doing great.  They were very happy to get the long car ride over with Wednesday evening.  They did really well in the car, but I don’t think Duke really relaxed until we were almost home.  We stopped for a few potty breaks in the rain and of course that got them all wound up again.  My fiancé loves them and now that I have them home I know they were the perfect fit for us.  They’ve been getting into some mischief in the shop already, funny enough I think Duke may be the bigger trouble maker!    He managed to get on top of a very high workbench and pull a bunch of deer sheds off of a shelf!  And last night he crawled up onto the same workbench to lay down?  Who knows!  We’re having so much fun getting to know their personalities.

I have a few pictures here of Midge.  She is hard to photograph as she just wants to be right next to you lying on the ground getting her tummy rubbed.
I think she is enjoying her new home.  We let her run around the farm all day long so she is free to investigate squirrel holes and try out her bark scaring rabbits.  She is still a little leary of our two cats.  They like to sit on top of the fence posts and look down on her in that way cats do that says I'm superior to all other beings.  Apparently Midge still finds this intimidating.  I'm sure soon she will realize she could take 'em if she wanted to.  :)
............  She is fitting in so well..........

Chewy got sick a couple of times on the way back home but he is really having a blast in his new home! He is also making a lot of friends in our neighborhood and is quite energetic and proud in his little stature. We hope Jill his sister is doing well and you can forward our Email to her adoptive parents, maybe we could reunite them in the future for a play date. He will be seeing our Vet Holly Thursday  morning and I am sure everything will check out fine. We are glad that we found him, thanks to all of you folks in Jefferson volunteering your time and Love for the animals. Keep the faith as I will be doing volunteer work here at our no kill shelter to further the cause. We will send more pics from time to time so you can still have a continuing feedback on the work you all do.

Attached you will find pics of Broder as he hangs out with my boys and our schnoodle. Broder is a very smart dog who is easily adapting to his new environment. He and our schnoodle, Baby, were instant best friends, and where one is, the other is generally nearby. He is WONDERFUL with the boys. I can't believe how tolerant he is for a pup. He seems so much older than he is. We are also discovering the commands and manners that he was taught by his previous owner. He's simply a joy to have in our family and we thank you for bringing him to our attention.
Thanks again,
